Klong Toey is the largest area of informal dwelling in Bangkok, and people who are living there do not receive any support from the government, completely lacking of healthcare, education and electricity. Violence and crime are part of the daily agenda. The project is situated in addition to the public playground and football court, acting as a long term strategy for development in a larger scale. The community has been got involved in workshops, interviews and meeting with the project team. The result is a structure to fill the lack of features in the area, as new hoops for basketball, a stage for performance and public meetings, climbing walls and seatings. With its 1,2m width and 12m length acting like a living border of the basketball camp, the community can make adaptions and changes depending on their needs.
