The impact an action can make on a community is considered in terms of benefits and advantages taken by the people. Certain social problems (like the presence of urban voids and the consequent development of ambiguos relatioships, the sense of alienation, typical of big cities due to the lack of common memories, or the absence of shared experiences) can find a solution, or get better at least, thanks to participated actions in making and using. A considerous number of people involved and the participation of different social groups contribute to have an higher community impact.
Therefore “high community impact” is given by all these factors; we consider to have a “medium community impact” actions with some of the previous features, and a “low community impact” all the projects with a few of them. “Ø” (no community impact) includes researches not directly exposed to the people.
